Enfield SMLE No. 1 Mk III* Infantry Rifle Serial Number 27466. I did note that there is a slight depression on the left hand side of the forestock in the area that the SMLE in your photo has its front volley sight but there is no indication that the area. SMLE's will have serial numbers stamped on the bolt, receiver, barrel, nose cap and the underside of the rear sight.
